This documentary is about discovering the Mediterranean as a cradle of contemporary civilization. Through myths and legends, stories about Mediterranean seas, residents of coast and islands, habits, customs, religions, languages and dialects, architecture, building up fortified cities and harbors, drawing nautical maps, fishing and warring, ships and art…the story about the Mediterranean is told as a story about cradle of civilization, and about the sea as a source of life. Scenario is written by the motives of the book “Mediterranean Breviary” of professor Predrag Matvejevic.
